The beautiful Norfolk countryside is less than one hour’s drive. Sandringham is well worth a visit, with its lovely walks and cafe/restaurant. Further on are Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton. Further around the coastline is Holkham Hall and various traditional seaside towns. For those wishing to walk, nearby Peterborough has Ferry Meadows, which incorporates parks, walks, a cafe and a lake. The city also has Peterborough Cathedral, along with an array of shops and restaurants. The historic city of Cambridge is also just an hour away by car. Closer to the estate, approximately 500 metres away, is the Nene Way Walk, accessed from Eldernell Bridge. A walk along the Nene River bank to Guyhirn, this is perfect for lovers of bird watching and animals.
